The following documents are necessary for you to apply for a E-2(Conversation instructor) visa. Please send them to us when you are ready.

1. Cover Letter

This should be a one page letter, addressed to the "Education Director", stating your desire and enthusiasm to live and teach in Korea. The cover letter is for your future employer to learn more about you, so you should present yourself in the best light possible. You might want to include your reaon for wanting to live in Korea, such as the opportunity for a cross-cultural experience, or a desire to learn the Korean language. Stress any special academic achivements you earned in High School or University. Also include any experience teaching or experience working with foreigners. Also indicate the dates you are available to begin your teaching contract.

2. Resume

You wil need to send us a copy of your current resume. Your resume should stress your academic achievements and related teaching experience. There is no nees to list every part-time job that you have ever held, as these will be of little use in securing a contract. Please print it on a good quality, white paper and mail it. Include your permanent address, phone number, fax number and e-mail address if available.

3. Photogaphs

You will need to send us 4 passport-sized photographs. Please ensure that they are a good likeness of yourself. Ensure that you look neat and professional, as appearence counts for a lot with your prospective employer. Photographs you send will also be used at the Airport to pick you up.

4. Notarized Degree

You will need to provide official copy of you degree which must be stamped by the Korean Consulate .

5. Transcripts

You will need to send us an official copies of your transcript, unfolded, in a university business envelope. These documents are needed by the Korean immigration authority to verify your degree. However, You do not have to worry about your marks. They do not check your marks.

6. Two Photocopies of your passport

The photocopies should be of pages 2-3 of a Canadian Passport or the inside cover of an American Passport. Make sure that you still have a couple of years left on your passport or it might expire while you are in Korea.

7. Letters of Reference

If you can include any letters of reference stressing teaching experience, it can work to your advantage. If you know any Koreans who would be willing to write a letter of reference on your behalf, in Korea, it would also be highly beneficial to your chances of securing a contract.
